Luvponies offers a wonderful range of horse and pony gifts and toys for boys and girls who love horses and ponies. The web site was developed over a six week period and uses many features of our web shop ecommerce application including:
- Products CMS – to control all products on the site
- Pages CMS – to control all content on non ecommerce pages throughout the site
- Order fulfilment tools – Picking lists, email notifications etc.
- Stock control – Stock location, number available, stock thresholds and stock reports
- Home page features – Allows Luvponies to feature products on the home page
- Shipping zones and postage rates – Set up multiple countries with multiple rates
- VAT rates – change the VAT rate and set up 0 rated items
- Product reviews – Allow customers to review products, mediate the review and publish
- CRM – Total customer data at your fingertips
- Promotions module – Setup many types of promotions
- Vouchers module – issue vouchers to be redeemed on the web site
- Reports module – Generate sales and stock reports
- Post code lookup – automatically fills delivery details
- Mass email module – Email subscribers, members or customers using templates
- Top selling Lists – promote products to feature on the what’s new item on the home page
- Club membership system – Allows for non shoppers to become members of the web site
- Image gallery – upload and publish customer images
The web site was launched on 13 July 2009 and hosts a full set of features and modules from our e commerce system. The web site includes Flash, AJAX, and a host of .net controls to achieve a bespoke solution for this growing business.
We integrated the back office with SagePay while all the order processing and content management of the site is done through our web shop ecommerce application.
