Hi I'm Tim,
Back End Developer

As a Developer, I’m responsible for maintaining and improving our existing systems and designing what’s to come.

Role in Webnetism

My time is split between supporting our existing systems while making them easier to maintain and working out designs for new systems. Good software relies on good communication, so I’m always looking for ways to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Specialty and Experience

I’ve been working as a web developer for 5 years. My area of expertise is readable code, maintainable architecture and reliable automated tests. I’m always looking for the best ways to keep things running and will push for new procedures and techniques.

What I like to get up to in my spare time

I’m often involved in theatre and regularly perform at the Edinburgh Fringe. I like to learn new crafting skills – most recently learning to use a laser cutter – and make digital games.
