We have launched our new website

You may or may not know this, but the parent company of Webnetism, Continental Ltd provides computer hardware to business. One of our outlets is a reseller website for Iiyama monitors www.iiyama-monitors.co.uk .

The website was one of the first that Webnetism developed, and in the same way a painter and decorator’s own home usually needs to be decorated, our own projects are often neglected in favour of producing fancy new websites for our clients. First launched in 2007 - although testament to the quality and longevity of the work we do - the website was well update was way overdue.

So it wasn’t just a lick of paint on the outside, a complete rebuild of the front end website code; HTML to latest standard, new responsive CSS for the new design. The website was hooked up to our latest version of our own content management system and webshop platform, CMS:42.

As well as all the normal stuff you’d expect from a CMS and ecommerce tool, some of the features of CMS:42 include:

  • a sales dashboard on login
  • product departments and sub departments
  • product sort order
  • product options and attributes for filtering
  • brand management
  • order management
  • picking list and invoice printing
  • stock locations and stock level management
  • order processing
  • order status emails for customers
  • manual order system
  • multiple payment gateway integration including PayPal
  • promotion codes
  • customer CRM
  • custom reporting
  • tax rate configuration
  • shipping zones
  • holiday calendar for non-operative days
  • page content
  • page archive and rollback
  • 301 redirect table
  • customer testimonials
  • news and blogs
  • team profiles
  • portfolio and gallery
  • document store and managed downloads
  • events
  • subscription list
  • user permissions
  • multisite management

So if you’re still clinging on to an old ecommerce platform and your business relies on it, then maybe it’s about time to talk to us about how CMS:42 might be able to help you and your business move forward.
