Mind clarity was a start-up looking to launch an app aimed at promoting positive mental health in the workplace, where the staff member would have access to a dedicated Mind Guru.

The first part of our journey with Mind Clarity was to build a brand that would be taken seriously when presenting the Mind Guru proposal to potential investors.

The brand would need to appeal to the end user, as ultimately it would be used by the ‘shop floor’ worker whilst also maintaining a professional presence as a serious business tool.

After an initial discovery meeting with the business owner to really get to understand the business ethos and explore the target audience, the first few sketch sheets were presented.

This first sketch sheet contained nine concept ideas, of which one hit the mark and was taken forward and developed further.

It wasn’t long before a final design was agreed, and the next stage was to offer a selection of complementary colour ways so the logo could be reused in a variety of different contexts to portray different moods (or stages) of the app.

Double sided business cards were designed and printed so the Mind Guru herself was able to take the proposal to market, along with various sets of mock-ups, UX prototypes and design assets we also provided.
