The Happy Puzzle Company provide an enormous range of over 400 award winning puzzles, games, challenges and books. Their educational focus sets them apart from the competition with provision of school challenge days and specialist games and activities for children of all ages.
Their new website was launched in October 2011 using the Webnetism CMS and ecommerce platform. This is nothing new for us as a company nor is integration with internal EPOS and accounting systems. However the Happy Puzzle Company integration is slightly different and the website does have some very special features.
How does integration help?
The integration of our ecommerce platform has been well demonstrated in the past with many EPOS and accounting systems including Elucid, Retail IT and Sage. Integration with internal systems can be very simple with the exchange of a few files between the website and the EPOS system. Exchanging stock files and order files is a relatively simple and common process.
With The Happy Puzzle Company we exchange all the critical information. We exchange stock information, client information, order information and all product related information. This makes management of the website a completely automated process.
The system was well proven during December when the website was taking an order every two to three seconds – all orders delivered successfully to Elucid for fulfilment; all order references returned to the website for customer tracking and all payments collected through the SagePay hosted iFrame system.
Integration with EPOS systems can be complex and so a costly exercise. Our experience in working on these complex solutions means that CMS42 can provide a measurable return on investment.
