Independent Abrasives was first formed in September 1988 by Andy Marks and Arthur Kear. The company was initially sited in Prestbury Road, Cheltenham. Supplying industrial abrasives and associated products, primarily for the aluminium extrusion and die making industries in the United Kingdom. This line of business expanded rapidly into worldwide sales within a few years. With increasing orders and new contracts the two partners decided to move to larger premises in 1990 to Kingsditch Industrial Estate, Cheltenham Gloucestershire.
Independent Abrasives asked Webnetism to put together a proposal for the design and build of a website. The new website will bring their current out of date site into the 21st century, without losing the gravitas that their reputation and name currently holds.
