Description

GBV Rentals approached Webnetism to replace their existing website. GBV where starting to see an increased uptake in booking online and have found that the booking flow could be more streamlined to improve the user experience. Whilst GBV had a strong brand identity in the area, we felt the logo could also do with modernising, so it fits in nicely with a clean, easy to navigate, modern looking website.

The existing website had a daily import/export process using CSV files to pull/push data to GBV’s custom booking system. As this system may be replaced in the future, we recommended leaving this in place and instead building a small API to talk with the existing system and the new website. That way any future booking system should integrate easily with the new website.

The website is driven by Webnetism’s state of the art CMS:42 platform, which has recently been entirely re-written from the ground-up and is far more intuitive to use for modern websites. Google Analytics is integrated to continually monitor users interactions with the website to aid future updates and allow the site to evolve, responding to its users interactions.

Alongside the new website we completely re-designed the booking process to make it easier to use. The booking engine continues to integrate Tyl payment system provided by Natwest.

The website is hosted in-house on a dedicated cloud platform and is managed by our team of hosting experts.
