May 8th 2021 marked my ten-year anniversary at Webnetism, so I’m a little late with this blog post, but as the year comes to an end, I thought it would be a good time to look back at how the approach to website design has changed in the past 10 years.

Implementing 'New Pic On The Block'

This is a technical follow up to the recent blog post “NEW PIC ON THE BLOCK”. To recap there is a new(ish) picture format called avif (or AV1 image compression format). This blog is to show you what we can do to automate implementing this (and webp) in your website without you having to spend a frankly enormous time converting your images.
